Jon Springer | Owner, Invisible Fence Trainer + Tech
As the owner of Bozeman Dog Company and Invisible Fence of the Big Sky, I love my work! For me, it's not a job—it's a passion. It’s a great joy to provide safety for your pets and peace of mind for you. I enjoy making friends with the many, many pets I meet, helping them to learn new boundaries, as well as meeting and working with the people who want the very best for their pet(s)—the best training, technology, service and support. My wife and I have been Montana residents since 1987, and as family business owners we're in it for the long haul. Our mission is to make life with your pet(s) more enjoyable! We hope you’ll allow us the opportunity to do so.

Erika | Store Manager, Dog Groomer
My love for animals began when I was a child, so no one was surprised that I grew up working with them! During high school I began working as a kennel attendant at an animal hospital and then trained as a vet technician. Before moving to Montana, I spent 20 years as a tech at an animal hospital in Texas. I had many duties from drawing up vaccines to prepping animal patients and assisting in their surgeries. These experiences taught me a lot about different dog breeds and how to deal with various dog behaviors, among other things I learned dog restraint, dog handling and CPR. I grew up grooming our cat and cocker spaniels, and as an adult, my giant schnauzer and Airedale. I’m always striving to improve my grooming skills through practice, study, and working with a very skilled mentor. Our family also volunteered for a French bulldog rescue. We had 15 frenchies come through our house with health and/or skin issues! We adopted one ourselves. It was rewarding to get them well and into their forever homes. In my free time, I like to spend time outdoors with my husband, kids and dogs. I also enjoy cooking, finding a new coffee shop and bird watching- we have a few as pets but also the larger wild birds.

Jamie Stolba | Dog Groomer
Born and raised in Bozeman, I’ve been surrounded by dogs my entire life. My family raised Samoyeds and spent over a decade showing them at AKC dog shows, where I gained experience grooming and handling many breeds of dogs. Alongside my lifelong love for dogs, I earned a degree in psychology at MSU. Later I pursued my passion in painting and became a professional painter. Combining my love for pets and painting I spend much of my free time painting pet portraits and showcasing my artwork at the Artist’s Gallery in the Emerson Cultural Center. When I’m not painting, I love spending time outdoors—paddle boarding and hiking with my family, always accompanied by our four-legged companion.

Evelyn Hoppe | Dog Groomer
Growing up, I’ve always had a passion for animals and their care. My aunt inspired and taught me how to groom over the last few years on my own dogs. Recently, I was a pet care provider at a dog daycare in Minnesota. From there, I was able to have the opportunity to learn as a groomers’ apprentice under two compassionate and experienced groomers. I love the creativity and connections that come with grooming. As a current student at MSU in animal science Pre-Vet studies, I want to work with animals while still gaining knowledge and experience in grooming. When I am not at work or school, I enjoy going to the local national parks, like Yellowstone, and wildlife watching. In addition to this, I also like to read and hang out with my poodle, Olaf. I am looking forward to connecting with clients and their families by providing the best care and grooms that I can for your pets!

Elise | Pet Sitter
Elise grew up watching her mom help animals in a vet clinic, which inspired her love for all animals at a young age. She has had many different types of pets growing up, and she has been watching her neighbor’s pets since she was a young teenager. This has led to her having experience with dogs, cats, small animals, reptiles, and even birds! Growing up with pets and then taking on the responsibility of others people’s pets, has made her very responsible, understanding, and patient with all animals. When she is not working full time at the bank or pet sitting, she enjoys spending time with her own animals, hiking, and quilting!

Max | Pet Sitter
Max was raised in Alaska and has always been surrounded by animals of all kinds. Whether it was the 3 dogs he grew up with or the wild moose eating his family's crabapple tree, they were always nearby. This personal connection to animals led him to work at a pet hotel and frequently volunteer to pet sit for neighbors and family friends. His passion for animals led him to move to Montana and pursue a degree in Conservation Biology so he could better protect the animals that inspired him. Once in Montana, he adopted 2 orange cats and a corn snake to keep him company. When he's not doing schoolwork, he enjoys hiking, gardening, decorating his snake's tank, and lounging on the patio with his cats.
